The Magic of Bees.

Bees have anciently been designated as a symbol of good luck and prosperity. As far back as 3,000 BCE, bees appeared in hieroglyphs and were once believed to be tears of the Egyptian God, “Ra,” when they landed on Earth. The coveted honey the bees created was so precious, pots were found in King Tutankhamun’s tomb for his journey to the afterlife. Upon discovery ~3,000 years later, the honey was still edible!

In modern times, bees are no less impactful, contributing to every one-in-three bites of food we eat. To do this, bees pollinate billions of flowers, including pollinating over one-million flowers spread over ~27,000 miles (the equivalent of a trip around the Earth) to make this single jar! Bees can also detect environmental dangers, having found everything from landmines and explosives, to cancer. Bees are not only mythical, they’re truly magical.

Appreciate their most delicious creation in its fulness with Regency Honey. Our honey is made by bees that pollinate peach, apple and cherry trees along Utah’s beautiful “Fruit Way,” along with alfalfa and other wildflowers. The honey is then extracted from the honeycomb using only a centrifuge and gravity to remove the wax particles, preserving its full-bodied flavor and keeping the honey’s wonderful health benefits intact. We then pour it directly into our signature jars for you to enjoy or share with those you love.

JANE DURHAM ART

This painting was beautifully done by Jane Durham (@janedurham_art_); a local painter here in Utah. Jane’s artwork has become a treasured part of the Utah art scene. Her work indelibly captures the relationship between light, nature and beauty. Jane’s artwork has been described as “impressionistic and antique yet somehow fresh and modern.” This piece is stunning in its simplicity, and yet powerfully creates the feeling of the frenzied, yet purposeful life of the honeybee.

This piece is exclusively sold through Regency Honey.
